For our Client – international company – we are currently looking for qualified Candidates for the position of:
Java Developer (Scala)

Localisation: Warszawa
Job type: Contract B2B


Responsibilities:
• Building new and improving existing applications
• Planning and collaborating with other software engineers on tasks, code reviews and deployments
• Working within cross-functional Agile team to get new products launched in time
• Leveraging central platform technologies to maximize standardization, quality and reusability
• Improving automated test coverage (unit/ integration/ user acceptance tests, etc.)
• Acting as third line support in resolving reported problems
• Creating documentation

Requirements:
• Very good knowledge of Java
• Basic knowledge of Scala
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience plus a Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent professional experience combined with a Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in developing web applications and working with a wide array of website technologies (XHTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON)
• Experience in integrating third party APIs and web services
• Working knowledge of various open source web APIs, libraries and frameworks
• Knowledge of Spring or similar MVC framework and Grails/ Groovy/ RoR is highly desirable
• Experience with at least one web server (e.g. Apache HTTPd, NGINX) and servlet container/ application server (e.g. Apache Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss)
• Experience in working with Unix/Linux environment
• Very good English language skills (verbal and written)
