- Good knowledge about Java 6/7/8
- Good experience in Java server side development, and familiar with Spring and Hibernate
- Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies
- Good knowledge about Oracle DB
- Good communication skills to cooperate directly with Sales/Trading / Operations internal clients, thus a combination of domain knowledge, delivery experience as well as relationship building skills with these clients will be invaluable
- Unix experience incl. Unix shell scripts useful

Investment Banking - Global Equities Derivatives / Trade Capture and Lifecycle Management
Scrum delivered middle-office processing for managing product lifecycles (D&EL business) which communicates with front-office and back-office applications to ensure that the trades initiated by traders are reflected in all systems, like clearance, settlement, risk, etc. At the end of the flow, there is a reconciliation between the systems which validates the information that has been is correct.
Collocated teams are distributes across Krakow, Bucharest, APAC, US sharing ownership with other systems for some common services used in the Trade Capture stack.
Your job will give you the opportunity to work as a key member of the development team working on a high profile trade capture platform. There is ongoing investment from the business on this application, meaning there is a regular stream of innovation and improvements to be made.
