The candidate will be working on a few exciting java applications with exposure to most current knowledge.
Provide applications in best quality as requested by specifications, utilizing state-of-the-art Continuous Integration practices.
Lead the development effort with other team members. Work closely with BA and PM to understand the requirement and help the architects in designing the right solution and implementing the same on-time and under budget.
As well as:
- Design and implement software components according to business/functional requirements
- Support system integration and user acceptance testing
- Assist in project configuration and requirements management processes
- Analyze existing system code and propose improvements when necessary
- Provide L3 support to the application's users in case of prod issues
- Work in distributed agile team based in Krakow, London and Pune
- Promoting clean code discipline (Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftsmanship)
- Strong Core Java - minimum 2 years experience; Java 8;
- Experience with J2EE, Spring, Spring Integration, JMS (Tibco, IBM MQ)
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies
- Experience with SQL, Oracle database
- Knowledge of main Linux shell commands
- Self documented code development methodologies.
- Knowledge of any batch scheduler is a plus
- Ability to work and coordinate with members offshore.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Good English command.
- Ability to support multiple applications when escalated for development team investigation. Excellent business problem-solving skills.
