Responsibilites
- Implementing a multi-tier web application used to maintain MDS meta data
- Contributing to the overall system design & architecture
- Delivering high quality, very well tested code and application components
- Writing technical documentation
- Supporting application owners
Challenges:
- Systems integration based on JMS queues
- Designing and implementing new RESTful API
- Redesigning existing full text search solution based on Elasticsearch that may require upgrade/migration from old version to the newest one
Requirements
- Solid understanding of OOP and OOD
- Hands-on experience in Java SE and Java EE (JPA, EJB, JMS, JSF)
- Proven ability to deliver high quality code (TDD, CI)
- Understanding of relational database concepts and ORM
- Experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem solving skills
- High communication skills and teamwork spirit
We offer
MDS Data Dictionary is a web based application to maintain meta data of MDS classes and they ownership. This tool allows MDS and MDAM to classify MDS classes, record and expose ownership of the data in each MDS class. It also provides a workflow for managing changes to the meta data.
