- Analyzing user requirements and creation of formal specifications,
- Developing new applications and the adaptation of existing ones,
- Planning and execution of technical unit and regression testing (white box testing),
- Providing 3rd level production support.
Must have:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Information Technology,
- Min.3 years of experience in software development,
- Java/J2EE and web development,
- Experience in Unix on user level,
- Knowledge of PL/SQL,
- Experience with Maven, Git and CI,
- Strong expertise in technology and systems integration,
- Very good written and spoken English,
- High attention to detail and ability to test own work,
- Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in banking/finance industry,
- Experience with Apache Camel framework,
- Experience with WebSphere application server.
The Solution Delivery (SD) is accountable and responsible for project deliveries concerning Wealth Management for top-tier Swiss Bank. SD ensures efficiency and quality of delivery - the right skills in the right place -, establishes methodologies, processes and tools into the organization.
As a Java Developer you will be engaged in providing the solutions to business problems of the banking industry. The team takes on responsibility for a portfolio of small to mid-sized applications. In this position you will be working in various roles along the full application lifecycle: development, integration, testing, documentation, maintenance, support and decommissioning.
During all these phases you will work closely together with your colleagues in the team, the local Delivery Management, worldwide distributed production and 2nd level support, as well as product owners.
