Your role
Are you passionate about bringing systems to life and drive innovation? Here at Pearson Frank we’re looking for a Java Developer to:
- Work directly with the trading and structuring desks to take my clients global cross-asset market leading internal client platforms to the next level.
- Work with Java8, RESTful Web service, Oracle, Linux, Git, Teamcity, Puppet technical stack.
- Take ownership and drive delivery code within a supportive team.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced Agile team, delivering in weekly cycles.
- Embrace the complex and the challenge of simplifying and rationalising them.
Your Team
The team is the Trading Solutions development team, based in Krakow. This team is a part of a global team that provides solutions for Dynamic Strategies and Actively Manage Certificates business areas.
Dynamic Strategies are algorithmic products, they observe the market and drive the prescribed criteria performance.
Your Skills
- Strong Java Development skills on server-side.
- Expertise in multi-threaded programming and RESTful web services.
- Be familiar with the derivatives business domain.
- Experience working directly with the front office.
- Experience working with Agile Methodologies, CI and Test or Behaviour driven development.
- Ability to apply solutions including stability, capacity and scalability.
- Be proficient in relational and none relational databases with proper usage classifications.
- A desire to work as part of a global team.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Nice To Have
- Web Frontend Experience; HTML5, React/Redux and AngularJS.
- Experience in KnockoutJS, Backbone and other Framworks
- TDD Experience such as; Mocha, Chai and Sinon.
- Text Automation experience using Selenium or Cucumber.
- Client relationship skills.
