Java Developer

• Work as a member of distributed team taking care of development and support for existing IT system.
• Participate in new features development for the existing system - clarify business requirements, design required changes, provide effort estimations, do coding, unit testing, develop test scenarios and support further release phases.
• Participate in integration and production environment support - analyze reported problems, communicate by mail, instant messenger and phone with other support levels, support teams for upstream and downstream applications and testers.
• Communicate with the teams in different locations and time zones (mostly US east coast and UK).

• Key Technologies: Java (3+ years), Spring (Core, MVC,), Hibernate, JMS
• Web-Services, SOAP, XML (JAXB,JAXRS), JDBC, HTTP, JMX.
• Good experience in frameworks and products: CXF, Tibco, Tomcat, PL/SQL, TSQL, Axis, Groovy.
• Operating systems (shell user): Windows, Unix.
• Multi-threaded programming experience
• Experience in JUnit/ Unit Testing and Design Patterns
• Practical knowledge of SQL and Oracle
• Experience in complex project environments - builds, deployment, configuration aspects
• Good analytic thinking
• Very good spoken and written English
• 5+ years in IT Industry

The project is focused on development and maintenance of miscellaneous systems that are designed to provide solutions to clients' business needs in investment banking area: trade processing, recording keeping and reconciliation, asset servicing, securities lending and trade financing.
