Responsibilities:

Your job will involve:

  • Developing code for the service-layer of a large-scale rich internet application
  • Being a part of a high-performing team on a high-profile project
  • Collaborating closely with the Business, Client-Side Developers, Quality Assurance and

User Experience professionals

  • Mastering state-of-the-art technologies and a complex business domain
  • Solving challenging problems in elegant ways
  • Sharing knowledge across the project team
  • Taking pride in the quality of software delivered for each development iteration
Requirements:
  • Java language (Java 5 and above)
  • Experience with multi-threading and concurrency issues
  • Clean coding skills and problem solving ability
  • Fundamentals of computing science including data structures and algorithms
  • Unit testing / testing frameworks (JUnit / JMock / EasyMock / JMockit etc)
  • Familiar with web-services (RESTful)
  • Command line tools (Linux or Windows)
  • Knowledge of design patterns and refactoring techniques
  • Experience in using frameworks like Spring, Hibernate and relational databases/SQL
  • Experience with source control systems (eg. Svn, git) and building systems (eg. maven, ant)
