*Deliver first-class software solutions to the global business. * Implement key parts of the system to ensure high performance and high degree of extensibility of the system in the long-term. * Design software components according to business/functional requirements. * Develop interfaces to be used by the clients of the system. * Provide L3 support to the application's global user community.
*Good knowledge about Java 6/7 * Good experience in Java server side development, and familiar with Spring and Hibernate. * Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies * Good knowledge about Oracle DB * Good communication skills to cooperate directly with Sales/Trading / Operations internal clients, thus a combination of domain knowledge, delivery experience as well as relationship building skills with these clients will be invaluable. * Unix experience incl. Unix shell scripts useful
Project: Distributed Information system of the client intended to maintain operations for derivatives trading on global markets, internal & external orders management, risk and P&L calculation.
Your job will give you the opportunity to work as a key member of the development team working on a high profile trade capture app for structured products. There is ongoing investment from the business on this application, meaning there is a regular stream of innovation and improvements to be made.
You should be able to show flexibility regarding non-standard work hours. There are plans to cooperate with different world regions.
