StepStone is a global organization and one of the most successful online job board businesses in Europe today and runs a number of job boards in several European countries. StepStone Services is a StepStone Group global IT Development Center located in Warsaw, supporting our European branches in application development and IT support for our web services across Europe. All the software that runs our websites is developed in-house.
You will work in a back office team of professionals working on extending and improving the functionality of our job boards. Together you will brainstorm possible solutions, design the architecture, implement business logic write new and refactor existing code to meet future extension needs. You will build high-performance, business-critical systems for data processing and exchange.
- Design, code and refine business solutions.
- Write clean, scalable and easy-to-maintain code.
- Work in collaboration with other team members; share knowledge and suggestions.
- Code refactoring when necessary.
- Cooperating with other teams and units of the company.
- Asses work needed to deliver the product and keep your deadlines.
- Solid Java programming skills.
- Solid Spring framework and Maven skills.
- Good understanding of Java technology stack.
- Knowledge of other related technologies is a plus (AMQP, NoSQL, Batch Processing, Continuous Integration, Business Rules Engines).
- Minimum 3 years of professional programing experience in Java.
- Ability to occasionally travel abroad in business
