As a member of the Feature Team you will:
- Provide applications in best quality as requested by specifications
- Work in different roles across the whole solution lifecycle (requirement analysis, frontend- backend-development, design, system integration, architect, support, etc.)
- Document your provided solutions
- Analyse root-causes in case of incidents and provide solutions for solving the problem
- Support the business in case of effort estimations and feasibility studies
- Perform code reviews and share best practices with colleagues
Professional skills :
- very good knowhow in software architecture and software design
- good analytical and design abilities and proven experience
- good communication skills in English (German appreciated)
- good understanding for business requirements (banking)
Technical skills:
- excellent knowledge in Java EE (at least 5 years of experience)

As a Java Developer you will be engaged in providing the solutions to business problems of the banking industry. The team takes on responsibility for a portfolio of small to mid-sized applications. In this position you will be working in various roles along the full application lifecycle: development, integration, testing, documentation, maintenance, support and decommissioning.
During all these phases you will work closely together with your colleagues in the team, the local Delivery Management, worldwide distributed production and 2nd level support, as well as (mostly Swiss based) product owners.
As methodology we apply Rational Unified Process (RUP) by IBM and Agile/ Scrum adapted to the banking environment. We document solutions with UML-Models in Enterprise Architect and Word Specifications.
