Java Front-end Developer

Responsibilites
- Design and implement software components according to business/functional requirements
- Perform unit testing of software components
- Support system integration and user acceptance testing
- Assist in project configuration and requirements management processes
- Analyze existing system code and propose improvements when necessary
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Experience in core Java 1.6+, Spring Framework and SQL
- Strong OOP skills and ability to propose design
- Demonstrate good working knowledge:
- in front end technologies: Spring MVC, JSP, JSTL, HTML, CSS
- in test supporting tools: JUnit4, EasyMock/Mockito, Cobertura (test coverage)
- Pro-active team worker (remote collaboration)
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English
- Availability for 6-weeks business trip to London (knowledge transfer)
We offer
- Customer: Top-tier Investment Bank developing internal finance systems.
- Project: Build the Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) Tool to deliver the ability to on-board Electronic Communications Networks (ECN) user access controls to entitlement review / provisioning systems, which will provide governance and control over their use in the bank. At present there are about 130 Investment Bank (IB) ECNs to be supported by the tool.
- Team: Working directly with stakeholders located in London in highly collaborative manner.
- Business trips: 6-weeks business trip to London to do the knowledge transfer.
