Client Tax Solution Delivery caters for all the IT applications at Credit Suisse providing tax services to the clients and the authorities for the entire Private Banking arm.
This includes support to the clients to file their tax reports in dozens of different countries and also to support them to reclaim withholding taxes where appropriate.
We also ensure correct reporting and withholding in over 70 different countries. This includes Withholding Tax regimes (e.g. in the US) as well as the automatic exchange of information or FATCA (US).
We work closely with Tax Operations, Group Tax and Regulatory Change.
Team size in Warsaw is approximately 20 people. In total Client Tax Solution Delivery is around 80 people. Most frequent interface is with the developers and business analysts in Switzerland who face off to Group Tax and Tax Operations.
- Development and testing and maintenance of Java/JEE applications using REST web services, JMS messaging and Oracle DB with JPA.
- Implementing front ends with Angular 10
- Member of a scrum team following agile practices with JIRA etc.
- Ensure code quality with clean code, code reviews, sonarQube and Junit tests
- Support migration to containerization PoC with Docker and OpenShift
- Experience in backend coding with EJB, JPA, JMS, REST, SOAP
- Experience in front end development with Angular 5+, SCSS, Bootstrap
- Strong knowledge in relational databases and SQL
- Experience with DevOps (Jenkins, Liquibase etc.) and Containerization (Docker, OpenShift)
- Understanding and experience to work in an agile environment (scrum, JIRA)
- Fluency in English
