Responsibilities:
- You work in a highly-motivated team of software developers to advance our Transporeon platform. In doing this, you develop and optimize our internal tools as well as administrative applications used by our customers.
- As part of the team you develop our modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot and Angular. Your ideas and experience are important for us.
- You closely cooperate with Software Architects, Test Automation Engineers and Product Managers to develop our joint concepts which you will later implement. In doing this, you will act as an advisor and use your experience to assist your colleagues. You are present at every step of the features’ creation.
- You will contribute to maintain the platform, as it’s operated internally.
- You will work agile with projects and perform continuous integration.
Qualifications:
- You are a passionate software developer with a degree in Information Technology or similar
- You have at least 2 years of experience in software development and in the development of web applications using Java, TypeScript and Angular.
- You are familiar with one or more Java frameworks like Spring Boot, JUnit, Hibernate
- You know tools like Jenkins and databases like PostgreSQL.
- You work with build pipelines and generate Docker images for deployment.
- Python basic knowledge is nice to have.
- You are fluent in English and feel comfortable in using it when interacting with colleagues from all over the world.
- You can work independently, enjoy working in a team and demonstrate an ability to work in a structured and conceptual way.
