The successful candidate will join the Application IT Delivery team to develop innovative applications for clients and internal staff using modern web technologies.
Expertise in modern web technology, including:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- Open-source libraries (React, D3)
- Tools (Grunt or similar, NPM, NodeJS)
Knowledge, understanding and experience:
- Object-oriented programming
- Functional programming
- Unidirectional user interface architecture (Flux/Redux)
- REST, APIs
- Git distributed version control system
- Agile development processes
- Internet security and authentication systems
- Automation technologies for testing and other purposes
Nice to have:
- Personal code visible in a github.com profile
- Technical writing or talks published on the internet
- Experience with other programming languages such as Java, ActionScript, Python or Perl
- Experience collaborating with User Experience designers
- Experience with realtime data-streaming and messaging systems
- Experience with cloud technologies
