The Accenture Infrastructure Outsourcing work to support the most complex environments, develop and maintain AIX-based systems and services. It also works on high impact problems, deliver of new features and functionality. With the company run deal strategy, Cloud Operations is focused to maintain the AIX operations among other disciplines and hence the position.
Junior AIX Specialist

What will you do?
You will deploy, automate, maintain and configuration management of the client AIX based systems, and its services.
Mostly you will:
- OS Server Administration tasks (ensure good server health & availability, OS Patch implementation, Capacity Planning and Upgrade, System performance tuning when necessary, etc)
- Ensure that all SLAs are met
- Backup and Recovery of the OS
- Provide application support on server-related issues
- Facilitate apps code deployment (during and/or after office hours)
- Facilitate hardware interventions
What we do expect from you?
- Very good English (written and spoken)
- Basic knowledge of AIX and keen to expand your AIX skills.
- Base knowledge of the Linux brands on the market and at least hands-on on at least one of them.
- Knowledge of various shell scripting (e.g. bash, korn-shel, php, python, and perl)
- Work as a team
- Nice to have would be cloud knowledge.
