Junior Data Analyst in Investor Relations Team
Role Description:
Timely and accurate delivery of shareholder analysis reports to stock exchange listed companies, inputting and analysing data within dedicated IT systems.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing VBA scripts to automate data collection and report production
- Production of client reports and analysis to the highest standards of accuracy and content including:
- Share register analysis – shareholder identification
- IR Reviews – a report aimed at the Board of Director presenting our analysis
- Client updates
- Shareholder targeting – identifying potential new investors for clients
- Bespoke client reports
- Perception studies – campaigns to understand the market perception of a client
- Engagement with buy-side and sell-side analysts – understanding their opinions on the market and specific clients
- Proxy solicitation/fixed income campaigns and analysis – communication campaigns to shareholders and bondholders
- Consistently ensure that deadlines are met.
Required skills:
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data and clearly present results
- Good Visual Basic scripting skills (mandatory)
- Financial markets knowledge (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (excel)
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to develop self and team; contribute to improvement of services and processes
- Enthusiastic self-starter; team player; proactive
