Capgemini Infrastructure Services is one of the biggest outsourcing service providers in Poland. IS has achieved great success and grown rapidly since the establishment of our first service center in Krakow in 2004. In 2006, we opened a second center in Katowice and in 2012 a third center in Opole. Today, our team of 1,800 professionals delivers IT outsourcing services to 40 clients in 20 languages.
We are currently looking for non-experienced professionals to work within a team which is responsible end to end for supporting IT infrastructure and high availability application environment for one of largest financial institution on German market. Current infrastructure is built on high end enterprise solutions and hosted in largest data centers in Europe.
- Ensure smooth databases operation in complex high availability web hosting environment in order to provide maximum performance and availability
- Create and maintain SQL scripts
- Ensure 24x7 operations and focus on Service Level Agreement
- Develop and upgrade existing system documentation
- Work shift pattern: 24/7
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, etc) is a plus
- Knowledge in one of following databases: DB2, Oracle DB, MySQL, MsSQL or Postgres
- Experience with SQL language setup
- Experience with Unix/Linux OS is a plus
- Experience with documentation of processes, procedures and metrics for the purpose of continuous operational improvement and adherence
- Experience and flexibility regarding on-call responsibilities
- Can do attitude is a must
- Good knowledge of German (written and oral communication skills)
- English language skills on communicative level
