Responsibilities:
- lead / support as an Subject Matter Expert (SME) on one or more Cyber Security engineering services, this includes but is not limited to anti-malware, data encryption, endpoint and mail DLP, data discovery and classification;
- create and maintain documentation to support the service such as Capability roadmaps, target state architecture, runbooks and other operational documentation;
- responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
Experience, Technology Knowledge and Qualifications:
- 3+ years professional experience, 2+ years working in area of risk management, governance, IT security and / or compliance
- understanding of the various Email Security, Brand protection and ATP solutions is also needed. Should be able to work closely with the messaging team and drive where SPF, DMARC and DKIM changes are needed for improved Email security posture
- understanding of the Cloud Security concepts is a must. Should be able to help drive the improvement of security controls for Aon’s various SaaS solutions
- experience with DLP platforms, preferably Symantec
- knowledge of basic security technology capabilities
- strong knowledge data security technologies
- strong knowledge of security administration and role based security controls
- strong knowledge of authentication technologies and their interaction with different platforms, both on-site and remote
- knowledge of both client and server firewalling technologies and their configuration and administration
- knowledge of security systems log correlation and analysis
- knowledge of data encryption technologies
- strong knowledge of Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention technical capabilities
- knowledge of vulnerability assessment and forensic tools
- prior experience of Enterprise-level incident and change management is an added advantage
- prior experience of Host-based intrusion detection/prevention and network monitoring is an added advantage
- ability to analyze processes, define improvements and measure success
- ability to independently research and solve technical issues
- proven effective verbal and written communication skills
- demonstrated integrity in a professional environment
- prior experience of working in an global enterprise-wide diverse team of information security professionals
- security certification like CISSP, CCSP, CISA or equivalent strongly preferred
