Junior Java Developer

Responsibilites
- Work as a member of distributed agile team taking care of development and support for existing IT system
- Participate in new features development for the existing system - do coding, unit testing, develop test scenarios and support further release phases
- Participate in integration and production environment support - analyze reported problems, communicate by mail, instant messenger and phone with other team members and testers in different locations and time zones (US, UK and India)
- Participates in development of the test acceptance criteria and test cases
- Consults developers on requirements
Requirements
Requirements:
- Key Technologies: Java, Spring,
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Design principles
- Knowledge of Oracle/SQL basics
- Unit testing, Design Patterns
- Unix/ Linux experience
- Analytic and detail-oriented
- Very good spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of JMS, Hibernate
- Knowledge of messaging using Tibco EMS and MQ
- Experience in Spring Integration or/and knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns
- Multi - threaded programming experience
- Knowledge/ experience in BDD
- Knowledge of Use-case driven requirements development
- Working knowledge of Jira and other web-based documentation/knowledge management platforms a plus
- Experience in working with remote client and vendor resource
- Knowledge of capital markets, finance and investment banking
