Junior Materials Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work as  team member to take part in projects related to metals (mainly steel)
• Share inside the Company the specific knowledge and competences about steel material
• Investigate, select, define and analyze new bulk steel material opportunities to be implemented in company products to address quality improvements
• Working in materials projects  from a technical prospective related to metals and coating
• Reporting to a Launch project leader the candidate should have understanding of innovative or alternative metal material options adding knowledge and competences in: material selection, material finishing, impact estimation on product design, impact estimation on factory processing

What we expect:

• Master degree in Material / Chemical Engineering
• Very good knowledge of steel properties and testing methods for full materials engineering (laboratory operation knowledge and tests practices)
• Experience on relevant position in Materials Department is an advantage
• Planning and communication skills
• Highly motivated person with strong sense of details focused on the results
• Well organised person
• Problem solving approach to the business
• Very good knowledge of English in speaking and writing
