Junior Mobile Developer
What will you do?
At MACS Poland, being a Junior Mobile Developer means:
- Creating professional, high-end mobile apps. We’ll be looking for you to become a master of this domain, which means following a global standards and trends and incorporating them into your work.
- Introducing new ideas and tools. We’ll expect you to learn about new tools and provide us with a justified opinion on how, where and when they can be used to help our clients.
- Aspiring to become a better developer. We are looking for highly motivated individuals that will look to develop from Junior Mobile Developer to fully-fledged Mobile Developer within a period of 24-36 months.
- Understanding the business objective of what you create. We seek to add value to projects by understanding their context, use cases and objectives, and then proactively making suggestions on how to improve the project.
Who are we looking for?
What you absolutely need to have:
- Mobile development experience using native Android SDK (Java, Kotlin) or iOS (Objective-C, Swift)
- Good understanding of software design patterns and programming good practices
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of the standard mechanics of UI/UX design implementation for mobile
- An understanding of basic relational database concepts as well as confidently writes the four basic SQL statements
- A degree from a technical university or comparable education or work experience
What would really help your application:
- Example of apps and code you’ve worked on
- Understanding of security concepts and best practices
- Experience with version control (e.g. Git)
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, InVision
- Experience working with Jira, and Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience in marketing/interactive agency or similar
