We are currently looking for Candidates for our Client for the following position:
Reference DataServices is responsible for sourcing and maintaining Client referential data including standard settlement instructions (SSIs) for the Bank across all linesof business. This role is responsible for managing the production processes and control associated with Client account and SSI set ups and ongoing maintenance.
Core Job Responsibilities (but not limited to the below):
- Proactively understanding Customer Account opening/SSI maintenance requests from key internal clients, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Understanding the business areas that the group supports and manage workflow based on Customer / Market priority and sensitivities.
- Developing an understanding of the importance of the Data integrity of the function and action all requests with a control based mindset.
- Identifying trends / common themes and work with the Line Manager to address those gaps.
- Conducting review of various control reports and take action as necessary.
- Ensuring appropriate handover to other members of the team across region
- Addressing any ad-hoc queries from internal clients.
- Building relationships with key users in order to foster outstanding relationship between Reference Data and other areas.
- Acting as an intermediary between Clients and Deployed counterpart
- Working Closely with Deployed Counterpart assisting with query resolution
- Participating in various tactical and strategic initiatives involving / impacting Reference Data.
- Identifying ways of improving workflow design through changing business and user requirements.
- Developing and understanding of Peripheral areas thatrely on Reference Data services – e.g. Credit Risk management, Financial-control etc.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualification - ideally in Banking, Finance, Accounting, MIS, or Engineering
- Fluent English and effective communication with internal clients (verbal & written)
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Project management experience will be an added advantage
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment
- Proactive Team player, Excellent attention to detail
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Customer Service Focus – must be able to work with our customers to ensure that we have provided a high and consistent standard of service
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
