The role of a Junior Security Consultant in F-Secure Cyber Security Services requires a skilled person with a well-developed passion for IT security and the will to challenge and drive all aspects of the security services provided by F-Secure Cyber Security Services.
With primary focus on delivering high-quality services for financial customers in the Nordics, the candidate will have the responsibility of managing regular security scan services and assist other team members with projects such as vulnerability assessments/analysis, penetration testing, code reviews and security architecture reviews on a high level. It is expected that the candidate has a positive attitude and have experience in developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleges and customers.

Junior Security Consultant
Location: Poznań
Job description
- Performing basic security testing tasks, such as work with automated security scanners
- Performing high-end security testing (this includes penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and configuration reviews) under supervision of more experienced security consultants
- Developing knowledge and skills to eventually be promoted to a regular position
- Communicate with customers on IT security issues both verbally and in written
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and quality across the F-Secure countries
Requirements
- Is a motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning
- Has the ability to work in teams and take part in solving complex problems and deliver great solutions
- Has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance team
- Passion for information security
Experience
- Basic software development skills
- Linux, Windows and networking administration knowledge
- Familiarity with networking technologies, stacks and protocols (including but not limited to HTTP, network protocols, routing, switching, typical network design), typical services network flow, operating systems details, vulnerabilities and attacks
- Basic knowledge of network devices (routers, switches, appliances such as firewall/IDS/IPS)
- Strong communication skills both written and oral in English
- Good team player
- Attention to details with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and training is an advantage
