Responsibilites
Coding in KDB language’s q to handle realtime position and market data messages ( ~ 10GB/hr of data) and build a reliable set of KDB services which will be used to calculate realtime risk and margin for the PB business.
Requirements
Must have:
- 3 years+ KDB/q Development Experience ( KDB 3.x) and maintaining enterprise size tick environments
- Linux Shell scripting (bash, sh, ksh)
Nice to have
- RFA or any other market data subscription experience will be strongly preferred
- Java/Multithreading
- Equities knowledge is preferred
- Computer Science Degree or equivalent

Strong KDB developer needed to build out the Prime real-time risk and margin platform within the Bank KDB Infrastructure to support low latency execution.
The platform has ticking marketdata and live position data. Strong developer with a solid engineering background (ideally a CS degree) who will develop in q with adequate automated unit tests required .
