KYC Analyst (investment bank start-up)

For our client, a leading global investment bank that is currently expanding its business in Poland, we are looking for motivated professionals to join a newly created operations division in the Warsaw office on the position of KYC/Due Diligence Analyst.

The chosen candidate will partner with key stakeholders in Compliance, Business, Client Implementation, Quality Assurance locally and globally to cover a wide range of responsibilities, including: undertaking AML checks to ensure adherence to all Compliance policies, procedures and regulatory obligations; responding promptly and knowledgeably to queries from clients, the business and other internal departments; risk and issue identification and escalation; assisting with identifying, defining and enhancing process efficiencies which will benefit the business in EMEA and globally. Besides, the Analyst will participate in regular meetings with Management, Compliance and Quality Assurance to maintain strong relationships across the board and take part in ad hoc onboarding projects as required.

Our client expects up to 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, including client onboarding/KYC/client due diligence, preferably in an international banking environment, as well as good knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and strong problem solving/facilitation abilities. As you will be cooperating with stakeholders locally and globally, high-level communication skills and client service orientation are required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines in a fast-paced high-pressure international environment are absolutely desired. Fluency in English will be essential.
