The role holder mainly plays leading role during a bid, managing a team of SMEs and/or tower lead, covering multiple service or technology components within the domain. They are a competent design authority on large and complex solutions, demonstrating an understanding of customers’ business and commercial issues. They identify, design and deliver large and complex architectures, strategies and specific solutions, working closely with lead deal architects and tower leads from other domains.
Responsible for the design and communication of structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs. Changes to service, process, organisation, operating model and other aspects may be required in addition to technology components, and solutions must demonstrate how agreed requirements are met, any requirements which are not fully met or, and any options or considerations which require a business decision. The provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices and that existing and planned solution component remain compatible.
- Defines major technical projects for customers or Fujitsu Services, influencing their view of acceptable investment level
- May manage a large design team, defining the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing, and identifying strategic level risks and remedies
- Manages a team to agree customer requirements and produce the design, setting high level criteria for the design of major solutions and exercising design control over the implementation
- Determines strategies, architectures and proposals
- Represents Fujitsu at customer forums, conferences, and professional bodies to build Fujitsu’s reputation in the marketplace
- Determines the approach to whole classes of business, leading and influencing others in the development of new offerings
- Works with customers to understand their business strategy and develop IT strategies and architecture for significant areas of their business
- Communicates the impact of emerging technologies on customer and Fujitsu Services business to senior level customers and Fujitsu Services businesses
- Shares knowledge with colleagues and makes useful additions to the Fujitsu knowledge base
- May own requirements registry and KSVI
- Owns part of RAID log related to the corresponding areas of expertise
- Contributes to all bid deliverables within his domain/areas of expertise
- Provides architecture authority for cost models development
- Participate in bid assurance, bid reviews and defend the solution. Ensure all solution elements fully comply with the company's governance and approval process
- Take an active role, supporting/leading where necessary, in contract negotiations to ensure that the contract correctly represents the solution and offer.
Education
- Higher education (BE/ B. Tech, M.Sc. Comp. Science, BCA, etc.).
Experience
- Multiple years of work experience in corporate environment with strong technical, analytical and solution skillsMultiple years of Presales experience

- Proven Solutions Consulting and Pre-Sales Experience.
- Strong work experience as Workplace Architect, with practical background in Solution Design, implementations and operations.
- Expertise of at least one Office 365 applications (e.g. Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams) with experience in designing O365 migration and transformation projects, including hybrid, configuration and Identity and Access management.
