Lead Ruby Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Bring contribution to the team culture of the project
- Manage a team of more senior and lead engineers
- Encourage a career track for the tech team
- Adapt the team according to technical requirements
- Oversee engineers and support them in their career
- Provide new ideas and supervision for the technical team
- Introduce new rules and guidelines regarding the creation, implementation, delivery, control, and maintenance of code
- Guarantee that company technical issues are resolved on schedule and cost-effective manner
- Own architecture and design of crucial technology and software
- Provide technical guidance and operative experience in software development
- Make and provide accurate technical documentation and presentations
- Coordinate with other non-tech areas and simplify cross-work
- Responsible for retention in the team and its growth
- Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging developments and trends in technology that could impact or influence current and future product development
- Software stack: Ruby on Rails, Elixir, NodeJS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, Grunt, Webpack, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD environment, Google Cloud.
Requirements:
- Proficient as Software Engineer
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of web Applications
- Experience in Ruby is mandatory
- Supervising teams of software developers or engineers
- Best practices practitioner service-focused architectures or microservices
- Experience working closely with shareholders
- Master knowledge of clean code rules
- Experience with test-driven software design
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar educational field
- Team and detail-oriented, productive and solution-oriented attitude
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and also in a team
- Great English skills (written and spoken)
