Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Linux platform solutions that are a foundation of MSI’s Astro technology products. The responsibilities include design and implementation, contributing to user manuals creation, functional testing (manual and automated) and participation in system integration tests. The project uses Agile methodologies.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Hands-on experience of Linux systems administration (preferably RedHat Enterprise Linux)
- Practical knowledge of Python, Powershell or Bash
- Practical knowledge of Virtualization (VMWare vSphere is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of test methodologies.
- Attention to detail
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work efficiently in an international team
- English language skills at a level allowing efficient team communication
- Degree in computer science, telecommunications, automatics, robotics or similar
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols and services
- Good understanding of system security aspects
- RHCSA or CCNA certificates
- Experience with GIT and JIRA
- Cloud technologies
- Continuous Integration systems (preferably Jenkins)
- Automation frameworks for Linux (preferably Ansible)
