For our Client, the international production company based near Katowice, we are currently looking to recruit: Logistics specialist
The person we are searching for will ensure accurate application and compliance using the EU specific Harmonized Tariff Schedule (Taric), relevant decisions/rulings, internal process guides, Company systems, etc. for import and/or exports of Company products. This position ensures that the proper Harmonized Classification code is applied for import/export part numbers by reviewing descriptions, specifications, blueprints and end-use. Proper classification is essential to correctly determine the duty rate and understand applicable restrictions and requirements. Logistic specialist will communicate with Purchasing, Manufacturing and Engineering departments to conduct product research and also works closely with the Logistics and Trade Compliance department.
We seek Candidates with at least 2+ years’ experience in customs compliance and master degree in Engineering, Logistics or related field (or commensurate experience in customs compliance / tariff classification). Applicants are also expected to be fluent both English and Polish and be proficient in Microsoft Access applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
