Purpose of the role
Provide analysis of M&A and Alliance opportunities and potential business models and propositions, meaningful analytical output and value driver measurements
Provide specialist analytics expertise to provide robust, high quality MI that helps the function to monitor and track performance and manage risks and opportunities
Drive continuous improvement of analytics and business insights ensuring SLAs are met, governance is in place and the quality of service is assured
Accountabilities
• Compile and analyse data regarding companies to be acquired, including information from external agencies
• Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections and reports regarding the impact of a merger or acquisition on the organisation
• Provide advice on capital structure in close collaboration with the M&A specialist FBP,
• Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of accounts
• Carry out financial modelling and develop appropriate financial solutions
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to evaluate new and existing alliances as needed
• Develop and maintain a ‘target list’ and assess and document M&A opportunities under guidance from the Corporate relationship Manager and M&A / Strategy FBPs

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
•Working towards professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) MBA considered
Skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with resilience to resolve issues
• Business and financial acumen
• Ability to operate effectively in an fast moving, global environment with tight deadlines and finite resources
• Ability to prioritise and maintain clear focus in constant ambiguity and change
• Excellent written and spoken English
• A strong customer focus, committed to exceeding customer expectations and continuous improvement
• Ability to challenge process and support change
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent English language skills
• Working knowledge of Spanish is an asset
Experience
• 3-5 year’s experience of M&A analysis in a global organisation
• Experience working on a large project with accountability of delivering results that support the overall project objectives
• Experience working in financial process transition situations is an asset
