Mainframe DB2 engineer
Location: Wrocław

Main tasks:
- install, migrate and maintain DB2subsystems and related ISV software components, which support the environment,
- monitor DB2 sub systems for high availability and take proactive measures to minimize outages,
- provide support and assistance to other work groups to meet their business objectives,
- provide technical assistance to the Database Administrators, Application Developers and Computer Operations Personnel in problem diagnosis and resolution.
Requirements:
- experience in software development/deployment on MVS, OS/390 and z/OS Systems up to Rel. 2.1
- expert know how in TSO/ISPF, REXX, z/OS and its subsystems are essential (base: DB2 Systems Engineering) and the Microsoft Office Palette, as well as DB2 Data management tools like BMC, IBM etc.are an advantage. DL/2 concept knowledge,
- team Player, Initiative and customer oriented thinking.
