Mainframe Engineer

Responsibilites
- Develop, estimate and present Mainframe off-load strategy
- Implement off-load strategy
- Analyze and do reverse engineering of legacy applications (PL/I)
- Work in team
- Tight work with english-speaking customer
Requirements
- Ideally 6 years of recent experience with excellent technology understanding of PL/I, COBOL, JCL, and DB2
- At least 6 years of recent experience in design, development, testing, deployment of applications using PLI/I, COBOL, JCL, and DB2
- Experience in building mainframe applications using COOL:gen (nice to have)
- Experience in Mainframe sunset / Mainframe migration projects (nice to have)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Strong understanding of common software development practices
- Good Analytical skills
- At least 5 years of experience Software Project life cycle activities of software maintenance
