You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts.
You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing. You will also participate in analysis of production tickets, track fixing of tickets and verification of the fixes.
You will perform root cause analysis of defects and will suggest steps to eliminate root causes, implement process improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve application / system / infrastructure performance.

*Ideally 6 years of experience with excellent technology understanding of COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS *At least 6 years of experience in design, development, testing, deployment of applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS *Recent experience in building web applications using Mainframes (nice to have) *Strong written and verbal communication skills *Good presentation and communication skills *Strong understanding of common software development practices *Good Analytical skills *At least 5 years of experience Software Project life cycle activities of software maintenance
In the role of Mainframe Technology Developer, you will apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.
