Managing Director for European University Alliance EUonAIR
- Heading operational office by leading and managing operational activities and ensuring the office operates efficiently and effectively in alignment with project's goals.
- Organizing meetings & voting of Management Board by planning and coordinate meetings within the EUonAIR Alliance and facilitate voting processes.
- Supporting coordinators in organizing and conducting regular weekly meetings and ensuring their productivity and alignment with the project’s objectives.
- Organizing agenda & voting process to ensure fair and transparent decision-making.
- Managing the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
- Collaborating with various project participant and stakeholders (e.g. Managing Directors of Partner Institutions, Representative of KU Research Office, KU Financial Office) and fostering collaborative relationships to advance project goals.
- Ensuring effective internal and external communication strategies are in place.
- Program planning and course delivery by working with deans to plan programs and deliver courses to the EUonAIR MyAI campus and ensuring academic offerings meet the high standards and objectives of the EUonAIR initiative.
- Monitoring funding opportunities by keeping tract of funding opportunities from various sources and ensuring that project is well-positioned to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Coordinating pathways to joint degrees.
- Executing grant agreement and consortium agreement and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in these agreements.
- Other tasks aimed to support the successful implementation and sustainability of the project.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale EU projects and teams.
- Experience in working within an academic or research environment.
- Knowledge of EU funding mechanisms and project management tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Financial management and budgeting knowledge.
- Fluent knowledge of English at the C2 level, as defined in the European System of Language Education Description.
- Knowledge of the Polish language, at least at C1 level.
- Skilled in navigating and collaborating in diverse, international contexts.
- Leadership and team work.
- Strong aptitude for working autonomously and managing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strategic planning and implementation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
- Eagerness to occasional travelling to partner institutions in Europe.
