Department Description

Supply Chain structure is currently being dynamically developed here in Cracow. It includes Order Management, Order Scheduling, Demand and Supply Planning and Delivery Management. The department is expected to become a Center of Excellence in the global structures in the near future. Supply Chain is supporting sales process and operations on daily basis starting from forecasting through order scheduling and management, securing material availability up to shipping. This function has the responsibility to place purchase orders on the supplier, ensure that delivery dates meet the requirements and track all required steps until purchase order is booked received and invoiced. This role is specifically intended to focus on 3rd party suppliers.

Job Description
  • Support item set up in in purchasing tool
  • Convert customer orders material (via OMAR/COF) in supplier purchase order
  • Submit supplier purchase order (GEMS DS PO) to supplier inlc need by date
  • Receive and provide delivery date from supplier
  • Monitors and track delivery date
  • Provide feedback on scheduled arrival date to internal customers
  • 1st level escalation on delivery date
  • Request COO´s from suppliers if required
  • Tracking of MSI internal receiving bookings
  • Ensure receiving of purchase orders are at the correct contractually agreed pricing
  • Tracking of MSI internal invoicing
Basic Requirements
  • University-/or Bachelor Degree s desirable (Business/Supply chain or equivalent)
  • Experience Supply Chain, preferably in Material planning organization and in multinational and multicultural environment
  • Ability to provide accurate data and summary report
  • Ability to work in a team, self-motivation and capable of working pro-active and independently
  • Personality with positive attitude, acceptance to changes and willingness to take up challenges and provide solution.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills within Motorola as well as to suppliers
  • Being fluent in spoken and written English is absolutely essential.
  • Proficiency in IT tools:  Oracle knowledge is a plus
