RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret customer specifications and identify equipment required to satisfy specifications
- Prepare, check and approve P&ID, layout and detail drawings in AutoCAD
- Design hydraulic systems, perform hydraulic analyses and size appropriate hydraulic components that meet design criteria
- Interpreting mechanical structure, electrical schematics and controls systems
- Ensure that equipment is designed in accordance with current HSE legislation as well as industry standards
- Prepare and approve factory acceptance test procedures, Operational & Maintenance procedures and inspection/ test reports
- Adhere to and meet Engineering work schedules
REQUIREMENTS
- BEng Hons Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with designing complex hydraulic systems
- Understanding of electrical schematics and controls systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards and design codes
- Knowledge of Engineering design theory and manufacturing techniques
- Experience with 3D CAD system e.g. CREO
- Experience in working with Teamcenter – nice to have
