Medical safety associate

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of any safety-associated issues that are or might be due to product quality issues, the analysis of safety surveillance observations, the response to safety inquiries from the Medical Safety Officers and internal/external authorities including individual and aggregate post-marketing safety data, literaturę, etc.
• Under the Medical Safety Officer supervision develops medical safety inputs during product development for assigned portfolios
• Departament initiatives
• Contributes to periodic metrics reports and ensures reports accuracy and timelines are met
• Ensure that safety related documentation is archived in approved repository and tracked accordingly

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s level degree in science, pharmacy or other health related profession
• Fluent in English
• 1 year of experience in bioethics or a clinical research environment
• Ability to search, analyze, interpret and clearly present safety, scientific and clinical data in written format. Comprehensive clinical/medical writing experience is a plus
• Demonstrate ability to carrry out structured problem solving and decision-making sklills
• Demonstrate ability to understand the clinical application of the technology/medication
• Demonstrate ability to critically evaluate safety data from multiple sources (post market reports, literature, etc.)
• Attention to detail and diligence in record-keeping and records organization
• Able to handle large data sets and draw objective conclusions using appropriate analyses
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with cross funcional stakeholders
