We're looking for a very strong developer with very good experience of leading from the front, specifically;
- Delivery focused
- Agile development practices with focus on Test Driven Development
- Team player, highly motivated, practical problem solver, initiative taker
- Strong experience of server side Enterprise Java with IoC Frameworks
- Strong Domain Driven Design experience
- Service oriented architecture using RESTful web services
- Relational database modeling and SQL (Oracle)
- Advanced Degree Level or equivalent
- Knowledge of Functional programming (working knowledge in Scala and Akka)
Exposure to any of the following areas would be beneficial;
- Generation of Domain Specific Languages
- Build configuration systems e.g. Maven, Ant
- Windows and Unix environments, shell scripts, Groovy
- Strong Business Analysis and System Development experience within a financial institution
- Knowledge of Rates Exotics and/or Fund Derivatives
- Hedge funds, Fund of Funds, Asset Management, Managed Account Platform
- Risk Management / Monitoring (VAR/Risk exposures/Greeks/Duration etc... )
- Investment Banking
- All asset classes, both listed and OTC (IRS, CDS, FX etc.)
- Data feeds and big volume data; BBG, Reuters, etc.
- Solution Architecture experience
- Data Management solution experience

The Managed Account Platform services biggest hedge funds within Asset Wealth Management domain of Bank. The main goal of the platform is to provide fast and reliable solution which determines current state of fund portfolio basing on different data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, various Risk and Analytics services within the Bank), and to reveal compliance issues and potential risks.
Technologies used to build the application are Java and Scala on server side, thick .Net client, and Oracle database. Scala is heavily used in parallelization and in data calculations.
The project offers an opportunity for a developer to exploit own skills in large Bank strategic solution and to contribute to creation of market leading product.
