Monitoring Solutions Engineer

Role purpose:
In this role based in Warsaw office you will be responsible for design and development of application monitoring solutions, based on industry standard tools such as Elastic Stack (ELK), Grafana, Dynatrace or similar. We require candidates to have hands-on experience with monitoring of enterprise scale infrastructure and applications (distributed systems, hybrid applications, clouds etc.)
Good communication skills are essential, as you will be supposed to share your experience with less experienced team members.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement monitoring of enterprise distributed application based in cloud
- Configure and maintain existing and newly built monitoring solutions, according to business needs
- Identify and assess new directions and solutions available across industry
- Share experience and directly train other team members in software development, infrastructure setup etc.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills, ability to efficiently provide and gather information
- Good command of English, enough for swift verbal communication
- 3 years of experience in web application environment
- Good experience with Elastic Stack (ELK)
- Ability to develop software using any modern programming/scripting language (preference of Python)
- Source code understanding, ability to jump into already running proprietary applications
- Knowledge of distributed and hybrid applications
Nice to have:
- Practical knowledge of AWS
- Familiarity with Linux console
