The purpose of the work is to improve stability, scalability and overall robustness of the client’s solution with a special focus on the database part, including its deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. Part of the effort is also end to end review of the client’s system architecture and – as a result – proposing further improvements. Working with a live\production system may be required.

Requirements:
- An expert level of knowledge and experience (MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014, SSDT, VS 2015, PowerShell, IDERA DM) supported by at least 10 years of experience in an enterprise level production systems and involvement in at least 5 projects focused on an overall Enterprise level database architecture and deployment review and redesign, aiming at stability and scalability improvements.
- Excellent communication skills (including technical documentation writing etc.)
- Project planning and tracking.
- Proved on-time performance.
- Working on production\live systems (including troubleshooting).
- Theoretical and practical understanding of RDBMS (normal forms, normalized and denormilized forms).
- 2D geometry.
- Design and principles of high availability and disaster recovery systems.
- Production troubleshooting effectiveness and technics.
- Database migrations, data transformations.
