MS&T Director
Miejsce pracy: Warszawa
The MS&T Director will provide technical and scientific leadership through partnerships with site and global functions and third parties to introduce and maintain commercially viable and robust products. He will be a Member of the I.O. Leadership Team and thus contributing to the strategic and tactical direction of the Group.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the introduction of products and for transfers from R&D and other sites or external contracted labs.
- Validate products to ensure commercial viability in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Enhance productivity by exploring, analyzing, facilitating and leveraging efficiency initiatives for manufacturing processes.
- Support continuous improvement in MS&T processes using Operational Excellence principles and relevant tools.
- Lead changes to existing processes or introduce new processes in accordance with change control procedures and GMP requirements.
- Work closely with R&D on knowledge transfer, product, process to ensure effective and efficient production.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality, EHS, manufacturing, supply chain and engineering areas to ensure flawless production.
- Identify, recruit, develop and retain qualified professionals to provide technical support to the site. Implement managerial practices to ensure a high performing team
- Knowledge of global best practices, actively sharing knowledge and experience. Select and support the implementation of necessary tools,(e.g. Kaizen, SMED, SPC, TPM, Project Management).

Qualifications :
- University degree in engineering (chemical, industrial, pharmaceutical, mechanical), pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry or other related scientific discipline (Master’s or PhD degree).
- 10+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in sterile manufacturing, preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry, including management experience
- Experience/skills in project management, including method transfer and risk assessment.
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing and packaging processes and technologies (preferably pharmaceutical), experience of product formulation and operation; practical experience of working with in-house manufactured process technologies.
- Ability to attract collaborators within the plant and across the company, using excellent relationship building and communication skills.
- Knowledge of OPEX principles and tools and a working knowledge of R&D processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory, validation and documentation requirements for product development, commercial production and plant transfer.
- Knowledge of statistical software tools and hands on knowledge of R&D processes.
- Fluent in English (business and technical)
