This is long term project of reimplementation of an old Murex instance using the latest MX.3. Project is Front to Back with the full scope of ERM and regulatory.
The project will include an end to end redesign of the solution based on the MXpress best practices.
Murex related Responsibility:
- Setup new environments, refresh environments and take regular backups. Ability to manage multiple environments
- providing support for various technical queries related to different module in murex (ex: Supervisor, payment, Confirmation)
- Developing/Configuring the processing script/report/batch of feeders if required as part of Batch Support.
O/S related Responsibility:
- Understanding and debugging various shell scripts/Perl scripts on QA/development servers.
- Designing and developing the shell scripts if required.
- Handling the Murex environment related issue associated with O/S.
D/B related Responsibility:
- Providing support for various Database activities like DB back up. Database refresh (includes (Oracle Import /Export ) (Sybase (dump/Load)).
- Debugging the database performance issue for various batches/jobs.
- Developing stored procedure, views etc if required."
"Experience - 4-6 Yrs of relevant Markets application support experience
General Skills:
- Good in UNIX command is mandatory but shell scripting at a working knowledge should be fine.
- Good SQL knowledge
- Good Communication & Stakeholder management
- 2-3 yeas of Murex Environment knowledge & experience is mandatory
- Some experience on Git/Jenkins and other DevOps tools is expected
Murex skills:
- Murex Application and database Architecture
- Datamart Dynamic tables/Feeders/batch Configuration
- Hands-on experience in any RDBMS (ORACLE/SYBASE) (SQL/Pl-sql)
