Murex Functional Support Analyst

Responsibilites
- To analyze and understand the functional support requirements of clients using Murex.
- To test and support the Murex application to handle all domains contained in the scope of implementation related to different asset classes.
- Market risk reporting, P/L reporting explanation / decomposition / attribution, pricing and VaR module
- Trade input, e-tradepad, STP, simulation viewer, analytics and calculations (including MACS and Flex models), curve construction, P&L, back office functionality, reporting, settlements, workflows, accounting module etc
- Supporting users including Traders, Sales, Risk, Ops, Product Control and Finance teams with the day-to-day use of the Murex application across IRD, Fixed Income, FX/MM, FX Derivatives Equity and Commodity asset classes
- Provide functional Murex training on an informal basis.
- Contribute with system upgrades
- Market risk reporting, P/L reporting explanation / decomposition / attribution, pricing and VaR module
- Raise issues, log user requests and execute first prioritization of issues as a central point of contact for any issues related to the Murex platform
- Escalate critical incidents and identify patterns in recurring incidents
- Gather business requirements from users and support the development of formal specifications
- Assist in specification of functional business requirements for reporting
- Provide functional Murex training on an informal basis.
- Contribute with system upgrades
- Oncall Support for overnight batches.
Requirements
- Ability to investigate failures in a logical and systematic way. Remediate failures and evaluate and communicate impact
- Experience in housekeeping tasks
- Strong Unix and SQL skills
