Job Description:
Responsible for leading the definition and design of solution architectures, conducting the analysis of alternative architectures, creating architectural standards, defining processes to ensure conformance to standards, instituting solution-testing criteria, defining a solution's cost-of-ownership, and promoting a clear and consistent business vision through technical architectures. Provide escalated operational support for the data network.
This role will be focused on the wireless, WAN optimization, and DNS/DHCP/IPAM components of the network architecture.
- Degree in technical subject preferred (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics)
- The Data/WAN Network Architect within the Network Delivery Architecture team will serve in the following primary capacities:
- Technical Architect
- Data Networking
- IO Lab
- Project Leadership
- Operational Support
- Provide technical recommendations for Accenture’s network and security infrastructure
- Drive detailed technology designs, budgets & bill of materials for new facilities and/or facility expansions
- Evaluate vendors/options & provide recommendations
- Develop & enhance Accenture’s network architecture & configuration standards
- Serve as a point of contact for non-operational questions by other teams within the respective Accenture Client Delivery, Network Operations & Services, and Data Centre Operations & Services organizations.
- Develop deep technical and functional skills in all areas that the NDA Data team supports including: WLAN, WAN Optimization, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, proxy servers, and load-balancers
- Be a member of the IO Lab team and support lab projects and clients
- As required serve as a technical resource for projects and engagements requiring specified SME skill sets
- Assist in the gathering of project and/or engagement requirements
- Assist other IM&S organizations with cost estimates for project and engagement solutions, as required
- Participate in tier 4 escalation support for infrastructure solutions within scope of IM&S Network Delivery Architecture
- The ability to use your knowledge of foreign language on a daily basis at work (we serve our Clients in almost 30 foreign languages)
