Your role:
We are looking to hire a .NET Developer to join a team which delivers web applications for
our customers in Poland and UK. This role encompasses development across the entire
application stack using following technologies: ASP.NET MVC, EntityFramework, SQL
Server 2012, Web Api, AngularJS, JQuery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance and maintain bespoke .NET components for the global content
- publishing platform
- Integration of third party, best of breed technology into the new created platform
- Design and develop high-performance, reliable and maintainable code
- Deliver to agreed deadlines
- Be pro-active in solving problems and overcoming obstacles
- Collaborate with other members of the project team to share knowledge and expertise
Requirements:
- 2 + years application development experience
- Advanced .NET Framework 3.5+ (C#)
- ASP.NET 3.5+
- CSS & JavaScript (including JS debugging)
- Visual Studio 2008/2010/2013
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 development
- Web Standards
- Fluent English speaker
- Willingness to travel abroad
Beneficial skills and experience:
- A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar
- 3rd party search engine development/administration (Microsoft FAST, Solr)
- Platform development with 3rd party integration capabilities
- ASP.NET MVC
- Experience with using Unit Testing Frameworks (ideally RhinoMocks)
- AngularJS, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design
- Some knowledge of Architectural principles and design patterns
- Experience of Framework development
- Experience of a queue or message bus technology (ideally RabbitMQ)
- Experience of Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure)
