- Liaise closely with Business Analysts or Business users to understand and clarify requirements
- Implement the code changes to meet business requirements
- Pick-up, update and assign JIRA tasks to correct statuses according to KANBAN Board
- Liaise closely with other developer for code reviews and critical technical decisions to be made
- Work closely with testers to discuss testing requirements, test design, test data etc.
- Release management tasks: preparing MSIs, preparing deployment runbook and providing assistance to support teams during releases
- Follow established deployment processes but also proactively propose new methods for process improvement
- Participate in discussions towards technical improvements, aligning with latest technology and according to the banks’ standards and architecture design
- Document new technical features, update documentation on enhanced feature, as well as documenting all other relevant topics
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- very thorough understanding of .NET technology
- Knowledge of XSLT based framework
- experience in Windows Services and MS Sql Server
- very good understanding of Object oriented design and programming
- experience with all phases of the software/system lifecycle process
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- knowledge of Spring.NET and Interoperability is a plus
- understanding of Web API and Angular js
- knowledge of WPF and Win Forms
- experience in banking industry
Application developer in STS Trading IT team developing new features and enhancements on a matured application.
The team is responsible for implementing change requests and financial regulatory requirements from GODP (Global OTC Derivatives Program), Treasury and Sales and Trading business areas.
Most common requests are onboarding of new OTC Derivatives product types, onboarding new clearing houses in the existing interface to MarkitWire (external trading application provided by MarkitServ) providing a Straight Through Processing of trades from Front Office systems down to Back Office systems. As well as reconciliation service providing various reconciliation reports, reconciling trades between FO and BO systems.
The team is the main contact to external providers, Markitserv and Clearing Houses.
The team follows an Agile methodology (Kanban approach) using JIRA tool to organize tasks. The team is multi-cultured and consists of team members located in Zurich and in Wroclaw.
