This role offers a gradaute the unique opportunity to gain experience in industry leading fraud prevention with our flagship social network and link analysis product NetReveal. This product is rapidly gaining market dominance in the detection and prevention of fraud through building social networks within billions of records. It has also been shown to be applicable in credit risk and marketing, as well as law enforcement, counter-terrorism, and other investigative functions. It provides a step change in prediction by allowing all the traditional modelling techniques to be applied to social networks rather than stand alone individuals or accounts.
The key responsibilities of a NetReveal Analyst are to:
- Work within a team of analysts using NetReveal to derive intelligence from high volume customer data
- Deploy enterprise solutions within blue chip clients
- Apply and develop leading edge analytical methods, such as data mining and social network analysis
- Adhere to and enhance software development approaches and methodologies
- Deliver high quality work to meet client expectations and project deadlines
- Respond to and resolve technical issues
- Go beyond routine questioning to find the underlying causes of problems or discrepancies to identify problems and develop sound solutions
- Maintain performance when under stress and manage time effectively through the application of organisational and planning skills
- Designing, developing and documenting configurations for the NetReveal Application to meet client requirements
- Developing fraud scorecards and models
- Participating in the preparation for and delivery of workshops with clients' fraud teams, investigators and data teams
- Demonstrating software and presenting analytics findings to clients
- Building benefits cases
- Transferring skills to end clients' fraud analysts, investigators and technical staff
- Managing and developing graduate Analysts and Developers
- Capturing and documenting requirements
We are looking for people with the following skills.
Essential skills:
- Typically a minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical role working within technology consulting or analytics
- 2:1 (or equivalent) degree in a numerate or technical discipline such as maths, computer science or operational research
- Proven communication and team working skills
- Confident presenting complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
- Passion for analysis and problem solving
- Knowledge of SQL and experience of databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
- Successful track record of utilising or delivering analytics software e.g. SAS, R
- Experience of Java programming and development
- Experience of configuration management tools such as Perforce, Mercurial, ClearCase
- Experience of the full software development lifecycle
- Some knowledge of application servers such as Websphere, Weblogic, JBOSS or Apache Tomcat
- Coding or scripting experience, Java knowledge is a strong advantage
- Fluency in spoken Polish and English; another European language would be a strong advantage
- Excellent written skills in both Polish and English

- A flexible approach to solving client problems and a commitment to high quality deliverables
- An enthusiasm for working with clients across Europe, potentially including lengthy placements in other European cities
Desirable skills:
