Network Management Software Architect with C++

Description:
We are looking for network software professionals who are developing Network Management System Software. This software is distributed among multiple processes, scalable from small to very large applications, managing packet based and legacy (TDM/SDH) services. The core system is a Linux C++ Application and the Client side is Windows & Linux.
Duties:
- Become responsible for the existing and future architecture of a major part of Client’s network management software.
- Have an active role in defining, modelling and implement the software architecture.
- Be the responsible person for architecture related questions in the domian.
- Represent the domain in the team.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (FH / ETH) with focus on software science.
- 5 + years of proven SW architecture development experience, ideally in a leading role
- Good knowledge in implementing large distributed systems.
- Good knowledge in Reengineering and Refactoring.
- Motivated and experienced to work oneself into a large existing code base.
- Extensive knowledge of C++ applications, OOD, UML and XML.
- Interest in Linux, Data Base Systems, CORBA and WEB applications.
- All other modeling and programming languages are a plus.
- Good communication skills in English, German would be advantageous.
- Strong team player, with the ability to bridge different interests.
