Network Security SME

Responsibilities:
- Work with our service providers to ensure the proper implementation of Network Security
- Support Service Coordinators during Incident, Problem and Change Management activities
- Provide regular reports on the security exposure and status in the Network Security domain
- Contribute to keep the company risk exposure to the desired level
- Responsible for reviewing and approving Firewall Rule Requests, NIP definitions, Cisco Web Security (CWS) policies change requests and WAF Requests
- Monitoring of the Network Security Services (Firewall, NIPS, and WAF Services, CWS)
- Working closely with Network Security Service Owner to identify areas of improvement for the Network Security Services
- Working closely with Vendor"s Network Security Teams for Incident, Problem and Change Management
- Providing operational support for network security services
- Assisting with service performance issues and service improvements
- Reviewing reports provided by Service Providers
- Reporting the security status in terms of the services to the relevant bodies (i.e. InfoSec Management, Service Management, IS RUN Management)
Requirements:
- Knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL)
- Security Certification (CISSP, CISM, GSEC or others) is desirable
- Graduate level with IT focus or equivalent practical experience
- At least 4 years business experience in IT/IS
- At least 2 years business experience in Information Security
- At least 3 years of experience in the Network Security industry (e.g. monitoring and operating) of the following types of engagements: network perimeter security architecture and design in a large multinational enterprise
- Experience with Check Point, Cisco firewalls and F5 appliances
- Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, hardware, protocols, LAN configuration, security architectures and LAN/WAN technologies
- Understanding of network security standards, concepts, processes, governance, implementation
